Rain Monday 25th June 2007

On Monday 25th June 2007 it rained all day, which added to the water logged ground as a result of a very wet June. For some this turned out to be the straw that broke the camel’s back!

In comparison to areas such as Rotherham and Sheffield, the flooding was relatively minor, but because the resulting floods were so unusual in the Parish, it was decided to include the photographs. Here are a few photographs taken in the parish during the day:
